Nintendo has held fast to the idea that when gamers try out the Wii U, they will "get it." The Mario maker is giving gamers just that opportunity pre-launch, as the company is now beginning to roll out interactive Wii U kiosks in more than 5,000 retailers across the United States.
Gamers can find a Wii U demo station at a handful of retailers, including Target, Best Buy, GameStop, Walmart, and Toys 'R' Us. Kiosk content will vary by location; some will allow gamers to pick up a GamePad and play titles, while others will only feature video content.
Gamers can find a Wii U kiosk near them by plugging in their zip code at Nintendo's special events website.
The Wii U is due out in North America on November 18 beginning at $300 for an 8GB basic model and scaling to $350 for the 32GB deluxe version that includes a copy of Nintendo Land.
The first high-definition system from Nintendo will launch with 23 titles, including Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Assassin's Creed III.
The Wii U comes to Europe and Australia on November 30, with a launch in Japan rounding out the bunch on December 8.
